A devoted mother of two miracle children, Anusjka draws her greatest inspiration from her family. Watching her children learn, play, and explore the world around them motivates her to create stories that reflect the values she holds dear — love, kindness, inclusion, and courage. Her characters, especially Sid, embody the lessons she hopes every child can carry into their everyday lives: to be thoughtful, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand.
Anusjka’s journey as an author began with a simple yet powerful idea — to make kindness fun. She started with the theme of sharing as her son needed to learn this lesson. He loved sweets so that where the first book in the Sid the Kindest Kid book series - Sweets Sweets Sweets was born.
Regis Etumnu wanted to craft stories that would entertain and inspire, creating a reading experience that sparks conversations between children, parents, and teachers about what it truly means to care for others. Each book in the Sid the Kindest Kid series takes young readers on an engaging adventure that weaves together humor, heart, and a positive message that stays with them long after the final page.
Beyond writing, Anusjka is passionate about giving back. She is also the founder of the community interest company The Kindness Venture with the mission to Teach Kindness and Transform Lives.
